How To Stake ADA with YORK

There are many ways to delegate/stake your ADA, you can choose either Daedalus or Yoroi as your private wallet.
ADA can’t be delegated from a legacy Byron wallet. It must be delegated from a new Shelley compatible wallet.

Daedalus (PC)

Download the Daedalus Wallet.
First time launching the Daedalus wallet, the wallet will sync with the blockchain.
After synchronization is complete, follow instruction to create / restore a wallet.
Make sure the wallet has been funded by your ADA, or you can fund your wallet by creating an address in the "Receive" tab.
Click the "Stake Pools" tab in the left panel.
Search "YORK" and click "Delegate to this pool" button.

Yoroi (PC)

Download the Yoroi Light Wallet.
Find and click the "download" button then choose your preferred browser. (Yoroi wallet will be installed as extension/add-on on your browser)
Launch the Yoroi wallet extension within the browser.
Follow instruction to connect / create / restore your Cardano wallet.
Make sure the wallet has been funded by your ADA, or you can fund your wallet by creating an address in the "Receive" tab.
Click the "Delegation List" tab and search "YORK" in the Search By Id or Name form.
The Result will be that pool and click the "Delegate" button.

Yoroi (Mobile)

Search and download the Yoroi mobile wallet app from your device: iOS | Android
Launch the Yoroi app and follow instruction to connect / create / restore your Cardano wallet.
Make sure the wallet has funded by your ADA, or you can fund your wallet by creating an address in the "Receive" tab.
Go to the "Dashboard" tab and choose "Go to Staking Center".
Search "YORK" and then choose the "Delegate" button.

We adopt from Cardano.org, every ADA held on the Cardano network represents a stake in the network, with the size of the stake proportional to the amount of ADA held. The ability to delegate or pledge a stake is fundamental to how Cardano works. The amount of stake delegated to a given stake pool is the primary way the Ouroboros protocol chooses who should add the next block to the blockchain, and receive a monetary reward for doing so.

The more stake is delegated
to a stake pool (up to a certain point), the more likely it is to make the next block – and the rewards are shared between everyone who delegated their stake to that stake pool.

While the Delegation itself is the process by which ADA holders delegate the stake associated with their ADA to a stake pool. It allows ADA holders that do not have the skills or desire to run a node to participate in the network and be rewarded in proportion to the amount of stake delegated.
